BJP National President Amit Shah trained guns at the opposition during the rally organized on the occasion of BJP’s foundation day in Mumbai. However, the ‘slip of the tongue’ did not leave BJP President here too as he likened the opposition to the animals like snakes, rats and mongoose causing much uproar. Shah taking a dig at the opposition unity said that the ‘cats, dogs, snakes and mongoose’ are spooked by PM Modi and thus are uniting.

Recalling the initial days of the party which is now world’s biggest party, he said that the party was started with only 10 members but has now grown to 11 crores. The BJP has formed a government in the majority of the states of the country. However, Amit Shah said, “This is not the Golden Age of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the golden era of BJP will come when in West Bengal and Odisha BJP governments will be formed.”

Launching a scathing attack on the opposition, shah accused them of not allowing the parliament function during the Budget session. He also accused the Opposition of not allowing the Budget session of Parliament to function. The session concluded today. Expressing confidence that the BJP will retain the power in 2019 too, he said that PM Modi has done a lot of work for all the sections of society and did not make only hollow assurances.

Amit Shah also made party’s stand on reservation clear. Shah, referring to Congress President Rahul Gandhi said, “Rahul Gandhi and others are saying that we are demolishing reservation for SCs and STs. We are in no way demolishing the reservation.” Specifically targeting the Congress and NCP, he added, “Rahul and Pawar, listen. BJP will never end the reservation policy. And even if you want to end the reservation, BJP will never allow it.”

The BJP is celebrating its 38th Foundation Day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi while talking to the party workers over video call via Namo App said that the party workers took the organisation to new heights.
