Anil Deshmukh Defends Himself After Viral Document Show He Travelled From Nagpur To Mumbai In Chanrtered Flight

Anil Deshmukh responded by taking a stand on this entire controversy himself. He tweeted a video in which he recounted his activities on 15 February.

 

Mumbai| Troubles do not seem to end for Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, who is facing allegations of extorting Rs 100 crore from policemen every month. On Monday, Sharad Pawar defended Deshmukh in a press conference saying that he was in the hospital for a long time in February after being coronavirus infected. However, now another twist has come out in this case. In fact, some documents are going viral, which show that Anil Deshmukh travelled in a chartered plane in February itself.

Sharad Pawar had said that Deshmukh was hospitalized from 5 to 15 February due to coronavirus and then after 15 days he was discharged from the hospital and remained in home isolation till 27 February.

However, shortly thereafter, a private flight airline ticket started doing rounds in Deshmukh’s name. This ticket is dated 15 February and from this, it can be seen that on this day Deshmukh travelled in a chartered plane from Nagpur to Mumbai.

What is the whole controversy?

After the letter of Parambir Singh, there is a constant demand for Anil Deshmukh’s resignation. Meanwhile, on Monday, NCP chief Sharad Pawar held a press conference in which he claimed that Anil Deshmukh was home quarantined. Sharad Pawar had claimed that Anil Deshmukh was hospitalized from 5 to 15 February, after which he had himself quarantined home.

BJP released questions for Deshmukh

Soon after Sharad Pawar’s claim, BJP released a video of Anil Deshmukh. The video was also tweeted by Anil Deshmukh on his Twitter account on 15 February. In the video, Deshmukh is talking to journalists. The BJP raised questions about how he was holding a press conference if Deshmukh was in the hospital.

However, later Maharashtra Home Minitster responded by taking a stand on this entire controversy himself. He tweeted a video in which he recounted his activities on 15 February. According to Deshmukh, when he started going home from the hospital on February 15, there were journalists at the gate who wanted to talk to him. He had a weakness due to recovery from Coronavirus, so he sat in the same chair and talked to the reporters and then went straight to the house in the car and quarantined himself. He then left on 28 February.
