BREAKING: Bombay HC Directs BMC To Issue Resignations Acceptance Letter To Rutuja Latke

Rutuja Latke resigned on October 3, however, her resignation is yet to be accepted by the civic administration.

In a Big relief to Uddhav Thackeray’s ShivSena candidate, for the upcoming Andheri by-poll. The Bombay High court has directed the BMC to accept the resignations of Ms. Latke & issue her letter by Friday 11.00 am.

Ms. Latke will now file her nomination tomorrow for the Andheri East by-election from Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray-led Shiv Sena.

Rutuja Latke is the widow of former Sena MLA from Andheri (East), Ramesh Latke, who died after a heart attack in May 2022 in Dubai.

Ms. Latke worked as an assistant clerk in the office of the assistant municipal commissioner at BMC’s K/East ward office in Andheri (East) and looked after administrative duties. According to the civic body’s officials, Latke has been employed with the BMC for more than a decade now.
