Congress replace Rashid Alvi with Sachin Chowdhary from Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha seat

New Delhi | The Congress party today replaced its candidate from the Amroha constituency in Uttar Pradesh just 36 hours after it fielded senior Congress leader Rashid Alvi on it. Sachin Chowdhary would be the new candidate for Congress from Amroha.

Earlier former Congress MP and National Spokesperson Rashid Alvi refused to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election from the Amroha constituency citing poor health condition. The Congress party had gave ticket to Alvi to counter BSP candidate Danish Ali who recently switched his side from Janta Dal Secular to the Mayawati’s party.
