BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla shared an old video of NCP leader Supriya Sule, saying former CM from the party Devendra Fadnavis was proving to be the MVA’s undoing.
New Delhi: Shortly after news that Maharashtra minister Eknath Shinde would go incommunicado with Shiv Sena’s 10-12 MLA, it was speculated that the BJP was aware of the development. Now BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla has further amplified the speculation with a tweet, saying, âRajya Sabha ke baad, MLC ki baari. (After Rajya Sabha, it’s time for the Legislative Council.)
The rumors were further fueled after it emerged that the MLAs were likely holed up in a hotel in Surat, Gujarat, a state governed by the BJP.
Poonawalla shared a video of Nationalist Congress Party leader Supriya Sule, in which she can be heard saying: âEk Devendra [Fadnavis] kya karega? (What will one Devendra do?)â and said: âEk Devendra Fadnavis ne bahut kuch kar diya hai. Rajya Sabha ke baad , MLC ki baari. Ek Devendra MVA pe Bhaari. (One Devendra Fadnavis has done a lot. After Rajya Sabha, itâs time for the legislative council.)â

According to some sources, Eknat Shinde rebelled when he was not in the MLC voting program. Shinde may break the silence at a press conference on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
According to sources, Shinde has ambitions for the CM president.
Meanwhile, Fadnavis left for Delhi on Tuesday amid the political crisis in Maharashtra. The BJP won five seats in the Maharashtra Legislative Council elections, while Shiv Sena and the National Assembly won two seats. BJP nominated five nominations, and MVA MLC nominated six out of ten seats.
Although the number of BJPs was small, they won an overwhelming victory.
