Raaj Kumar Anand, a former Delhi minister, joined the BSP on Sunday, declaring his candidacy for the New Delhi constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Anand, who resigned from the Delhi cabinet and left AAP in April, cited inadequate Dalit representation in the party. He expressed his allegiance to the BSP, stating, “I pay homage to Baba Saheb Ambedkar. I sense a return to my political roots.”
