Union Minister, and BJP leader, Giriraj Singh, on Thursday, shared a video clip of Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav on Twitter. In the video, the RJD leader is questioned about his promise of 10 Lakh jobs which the RJD leader had made during the 2020 elections campaign.
To which the Bihar-based politicianĀ is seen answering, that his promiseĀ was when he becomes CM and now he is Deputy CM.
“Wo dus Lakh ka jo wada humne kiya tha, uss commitment ko hum pura karenge, aur jo wada jab dus lakh ka hummne kiya tha,toh bola tha jab mukhyamantri banege tab karenge, abhi toh hum upmukhyamantri hai.”
(The promise I made, that commitment will be fulfilled, when I made that promise I had made I said when I will fulfill it when I become CM and now I am DCM.)
Whereas, in the interview when he is asked “Youngsters were expecting a lot from you, and people used to run behind you. Now that you have the opportunity to provide employment. A meeting with Nitish Kumar was chaired twice in 2 days, any plans on how 10 lakh jobs will be allotted.”
Responding to which the former cricketer said, ” It was our agenda in 2020, and it remains because unemployment is the biggest problem not only in Bihar but across India.” “The central goverment ate jobs, finished everything, factories got shut down, people are not getting anything,Ā So you can say that the promise of 10 lakh which we made, that commitment we will fulfill. When we promised 10 lakh jobs, I had said I would do it when I become CM and now I am DCM, however, the CM has spoken to me on this issue and he is serious about this issue.”

“If not through me, it will happen through Nitish Kumar, which does not matter if it happens through the CM, I will be more than happy,” he added.
Mr. Yadav further said,” We will provide as many jobs as possible, but we will also try to bring in investors and factories open and create an environment which can lead to job generation.
