Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan denied PM Modi’s appointment for fourth time

New Delhi | Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has been denied permission to meet PM Narendra Modi by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for the fourth consecutive time.

CM Vijayan along with the party delegation wanted to meet PM Modi to discuss the disparities in the ration allocation to the state.

Vijayan had asked for an appointment to meet Prime Minister Modi to discuss the same issue. The Chief Minister’s Office had earlier wished to meet the Prime Minister to appraise about budget allocation to the state on March 20, 2017. On November 24, 2016, a week after demonetisation came into effect, Vijayana requested for an appointment with Prime Minister Modi to discuss the same.

Meanwhile, responding to the request, PMO said that the Chief Minister can meet Food and Public Distribution Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan if needed.
