Kerala Grants ₹10 Lakh Relief To Drowned Sanitation Worker’s Mother

The Kerala government announced a Rs 10 lakh relief for the mother of sanitation worker Joy, who drowned while cleaning a canal filled with waste. The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund will provide the relief amount. Joy’s body was found on Monday after he went missing on July 13.
