Maharashtra govt formation gets a new deadline, Sanjay Raut says to be announced by December 1

Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan said, “There was a long and positive conversation between Congress-NCP. We will form a stable government in Maharashtra soon.”

 

Mumbai| ShivSena MP Sanjay Raut has said that the process of forming a government in Maharashtra will be completed before December 1. According to sources, Congress Working President Sonia Gandhi has approved to form the government with ShivSena. Congress leaders are meeting for the second consecutive day at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s residence in Delhi on Thursday. According to the report, on Friday, Congress, NCP and ShivSena can announce the formation of the government in Mumbai.

Sources said, Congress Working President Sonia Gandhi has approved to form the government with ShivSena after meeting with the party members on Wednesday. After this, all sides have intensified the negotiations.

There was a meeting of about 3 hours between Congress and NCP leaders at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s residence in Delhi on Wednesday to form government in Maharashtra. After this, Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan said, “There was a long and positive conversation between Congress-NCP. I hope that we will be able to form a stable government in the state soon. ”

“Congress and NCP leaders will again meet with their respective leaders on Thursday,” he said. After that, we will meet in the afternoon and fulfil all the conditions. After this, on November 22, he will meet all the leaders of Maharashtra in Mumbai. “In the meeting, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, K.C. Venugopal, Ahmed Patel, Jairam Ramesh and Naseem Khan participated. At the same time, other leaders including Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule, Ajit Pawar and Sunil Tatkare were also present on behalf of NCP.” The three-party meeting will take place in the YB Chavan centre in Mumbai on Friday.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, ShivSena MLA Abdul Sattar said that party chief Uddhav Thackeray has summoned all the MLAs with the Aadhaar card to Matoshree on 22nd November. All the MLAs have been asked to bring clothes for five days.
