Wayanad | Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi slammed the Modi government today by saying that the southern part of India feels dejected over the ignorance of Modi government.
“I have come to Kerala to send a message that India is one, be it North, South, East or West”, he told the reporters.
“There is a feeling in South India that the way Centre, Modiji and RSS are working its like an assault on culture and languages in South”, he added.
The Congress chief also commented on the speculations that CPM is upset with the party for deciding Kerala, a CPM stronghold.
“I understand that my brothers and sisters in CPM will now speak against me and attack me, but I am not going to say a word against the CPM in my entire campaign”, he said.
Rahul Gandhi come to Wayanad in Kerala today to file his nomination for contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Gandhi will be contesting from two constituencies, Wayanad in Kerala and Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
The Lok Sabha elections will be held from this month, and the results of the counting will end on May 23.
