This will be the first time after bitterly fought West Bengal elections earlier this year that, Mamata Banerjee and PM Modi will come face-to-face. This meeting also comes at a time when the TMC has sharpened its attack on the central government on issues like Pegasus espionage controversy and raid on media houses.
