“I’ll submit my resignation letter to CM Nitish Kumarji on Saturday. If officials don’t listen to me, how will I be able to do work for the people who have been electing me for last three consecutive terms? I’m not here to have a spacious bungalow or a car. I’m here to serve people who have elected me”, Mr. Sahni said, The Hindu reported.
Madan Sahni, the Social Welfare Minister of Bihar, on a Thursday went on a public rant against his Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and said that the state government is corrupt and that he will hand in his resignation on Saturday.
Mr. Sahni said he was extremely upset over officers putting on hold transfers and postings he had approved as a minister.
I'm resigning in objection against bureaucracy.I'm not satisfied with the residence or vehicle I received because if I can't serve people,if officers don't listen to me then work of people won't get done.If their work isn't getting done,I don't need this:Bihar Min Madan Sahni.ANI pic.twitter.com/sHjuKW9Gxg

According to sources, all the recommendations of Mr. Sahni were ignored in a department that has faced a prolonged CBI investigation over a sex scandal in a remand home in Muzaffarpur.
Madan Sahni said he had raised similar problems at a meeting of MLAs of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) – that officials hardly entertain “genuine demands” of ministers.
