Responding to the accusation, Congress said that BJP is “morally corrupt”. “Shivsena is an alliance partner of @BJP4India and part of #Mahayuti… If it feels scared that #BJP will poach their MLAs, then we can very well understand how much #BJP is morally corrupt and why we must save Maharashtra from them. Does #Mahayuti hv moral rights to form govt now?” asked leader Sachin Sawant.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said Uddhav Thackeray has not received any proposal from BJP. The BJP and the Sena are locked in a standoff over the post of chief minister in the new government and sharing of ministerial portfolios.
