Prashant Kishor Mocks PM Modi After Donald Trumps Claim on India-China Border Row

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi demanded transparency regarding the ongoing border tension between India and China

 

 

NEW DELHI| On Friday Top election strategist Prashant Kishor took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi after US President Donald Trump comments on Modi’s mood, not great with China.

Prashant Kishor took to twitter and said, “We can forget all our worries as India seem to have truly arrived at the global stage. We now have President of the United States informing the world about the mood of our Prime Minister!”

Not only Prashant Kishor but many from the opposition also reacted to Trump’s statement on Modi. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi demanded transparency regarding the ongoing border tension between India and China.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “The Government’s silence about the border situation with China is fueling massive speculation and uncertainty at a time of crisis. GOI must come clean and tell India exactly what’s happening.”

Following the statement made by Trump, both the national officials from China and India have denied. Both countries stated they will settle the matter through diplomatic dialogue.

Trump had earlier offered to mediate the border flare-up between India and China in Ladakh and Sikkim sectors. Tensions between India and China increased after soldiers of both nations engaged in a physical brawl on May 5. Many soldiers got hurt due to the episode. Another such incident was reported on May 9 from Sikkim sector.
