Priyanka Gandhi addresses maiden rally in Gujarat; hits out at PM Modi

Ahmedabad | Newly-appointed Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra today attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi during her maiden address the Congress worker after the CWC meet in Gujarat.

Criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not fulfilling the promises of providing jobs to crores of people in the country, Gandhi said,” Issues which should be raised must comprise as to what is most important for you and how can you move forward. How will youth get jobs, how will women feel safe, what will be done for farmers.”

Questioning the governance of the current government, Gandhi said,” I realised that this country is built with love and harmony. I feel sad at the current situation of the country. There is no better nationalism than being aware”.” Our institutions are being destroyed. Wherever you see, hatred is being spread. Nothing matters more to us that you and I protect this nation, work for it and move forward together,” added Gandhi.

Urging voters to value there voting powers, Gandhi said,” You will have to think what exactly is this election. What are you going to choose in this election? You are going to choose your future.”
