Rahul Gandhi says the truth will catch up with Amit Shah, rejects being the invisible hand behind the petitions

Opposition questioned the Supreme Court verdict regarding Judge Loya case on Thursday stating that the National Judicial System was under serious risk of losing the faith of common man. Despite the apex court concluding that there was nothing suspicious in Loya’s death, Congress stated that they will continue to push for a probe and rejected BJP’s allegations that Rahul Gandhi was the “invisible hand” behind the petitions.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi publicly stated that the truth has its own way of catching up with people like him, which was clearly a dig at BJP chief Amit Shah.

Earlier, the Supreme Court dismissed multiple petitions seeking an independent probe into the death of judge Loya, who was handling the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case, in which Shah was once an accused and was later acquitted. Judge Loya “allegedly” died of a cardiac arrest on December 1, 2014.
