Rahul Gandhi should Apologize to India, Ravi Shankar Prasad

Gandhi lied about former French President Mr Francois Hollande, Mr Hollande clarified and said it’s a lie out in public

NEW DELHI| On Thursday Apex Court accepted the apology of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for wrongly attributing his “chowkidar chor hai” slogan against PM Modi. Supreme Court gave a clean chit to Union Government on the Rafael deal.

Ravi Shankar Prasad, the Union Minister while addressing Press Conference blames Rahul Gandhi for lying in Parliament and stooped to the “shameful” extent of misquoting the top court deliberately.

Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said the Congress and in particular, its former president Gandhi must apologise to the country.

Hailing the Supreme Court’s order on the Rafale deal as a victory of the country’s national security, Prasad said, “It is recognition of the honest decision-making process of the Narendra Modi government Satayamav Jayete”.

“People having the saga of corruption from Jeep scandal to Bofors to Submarine to AugustaWestland were undertaking a political programme masquerading at the quest of justice,” Prasad said.

“Raising false allegations on the Rafale deal was the lowest point of political discourse that he stooped to the shameful extent of misquoting the supreme court deliberately,” Prasad said.

Prasad said the Congress leader has not only called the Prime Minister a thief, but he lied about the former French President statements and misquoted the Supreme Court.

“Today the people of the country want to know which powers were backing Rahul Gandhi. All I can say is that the whole campaign is extremely suspicious,” said the minister.
