The Supreme Court declined to hear Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea against his arrest today. Kejriwal, of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), sought Supreme Court intervention after the Delhi High Court dismissed his challenge to his Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrest in the liquor policy case. The urgent hearing was requested by senior lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi, who argued that Kejriwal’s arrest and remand were based on an unreliable document withheld from them.
