Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Sharad Pawar braces heavy rains in Satara, says “Giving ticket to Udayanraje a mistake”

While Sharad Pawar was addressing the rally, heavy rains started pouring but that did not deter the leader who is in his 80s and he continued to address the crowd.

Satara| NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Friday took social media by storm with his speech in Satara. He was addressing a rally in Satara, from where NCP had fielded Shivaji’s descendent Udayanraje Bhosale, who later resigned and joined the BJP. The Satara bypolls are due on October 21st along with the Maharashtra assembly elections.

While Pawar was addressing the rally, heavy rains started pouring but that did not deter the leader who is in his 80s and he continued to address the crowd. The crowd too did not budge.

Pawar said: “When one makes a mistake, one should admit it. I made a mistake while selecting a candidate for the Lok Sabha poll. However, he said he is happy that to correct the mistake, every young and old person in Satara is waiting for October 21.”
