Talking about the Aarey car shed Uddhav Thackeray further said, “I have to say that they (Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis) do not love Mumbai because they are not from Mumbai.

Mumbai| Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray criticized Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over the cabinet meeting in the state terming the situation as ‘Hum tum Ek Kamere mein bandh’. The second part of Uddhav Thackeray’s interview with Sanjay Raut, executive editor of Dainik Saamana, has been aired today (July 27) at 8.30 am. In an interview with Saamana Uddhav Thackeray expressed his views on issues like Eknath Shinde, BJP, Central Investigation Agency, majority test, municipal elections, etc.

“Only Two People In Ministry, What Kind of Govt Is It???”

Uddhav was asked by Raut how does he see the new government today after managing the government of the state for two and a half years as the Chief Minister. Replying to this Uddhav Thackeray said, “There is some sense in talking about the government after it is formed. Hum tum Ek kamere mein band ho, this is the government isn’t it?” He taunted the Shinde that the government will be formed when the key is opened from above, i.e. after the cabinet expansion is approved from Delhi.

“Don’t take out my anger on Mumbai”

Talking about the decision of the Shinde Govt to reverse the orders of the MVA govt, Uddhav Thackeray mentioned the issue of Aarey Car shed. He said, “Some decisions like Aarey Car shed, I have one thing to say again and again. Don’t take out my anger on Mumbai. Don’t do anything that will harm the environment of Mumbai. Even after the trees are cut there, leopards roam around. I have reports that wildlife exists in Aarey even today.”

He said, “The Shinde government should shift the car shed from Aarey to Kanjur where there is empty land. If a metro car shed should be built in that place. So this metro can be used by more people. Today or tomorrow we will have to put our hands on Kanjur’s place. Even now I say once again, I gave an affidavit in the court during the car shed at Aarey that I will not use this much space. That space also has to be used. There are trees. Just on your whim, please don’t attack Mumbai.”

“Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister not from Mumbai, have no love for the city”

– Uddhav thackeray

Talking about the car shed Uddhav Thackeray further said, “I have to say that they (Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis) do not love Mumbai because they are not from Mumbai. Maharashtra belongs to us, the Chief Minister belongs to Maharashtra, he is not only from Mumbai, Thane, or Nagpur.”

“I am satisfied with one thing when I was Chief Minister, wherever possible, we tried to grow trees. Even in Mumbai, I have declared 800 acres of forest. So finally the environment is important. Because if the environment is depleted, we will have no oxygen,” he further added.
