“ShivSena is not a Hurdle in forming Government in Maharashtra,” says Sanjay Raut

The meeting with the governor lasted for almost 1 hour but was a courtesy meeting, we did not discuss anything about politic, Sanjay Raut said.

 

Mumbai| On Monday evening Shivsena MP Sanjay Raut along with Environment Minister Ramdas Kadam Meet Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Raut said the meet was just a courtesy meet nothing political.

From Monday morning there was a buzz that ShivSena Minister Sanjay Raut is going to meet Governor in regards of forming New Government after Maharashtra Assembly polls. The meet was for almost 1 hour but was a courtesy meeting, we did not discuss anything about politic, Raut said

“We were supposed to meet long back but because of some circumstances, it used to be delayed. We met Governor on behalf of Uddhav Ji and handed him a book name ‘Fatkare’ by Balasaheb Thackeray. Uddhav ji’s two-books ‘Pahava Vitthal’ and another one related to forts in Maharashtra were gifted to him,” Raut said.

When questioned about government formation, Raut replayed, “We just shared our thoughts that government should form soon and ShivSena is not a hurdle in government formation.”

Monday is a big day as the three important meets are scheduled- Maharashtra CM Fadnavis and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, Sanjay Raut and Maharashtra Governor in Mumbai and National Congress Sharad Pawar and Congress Chief Head Sonia Gandhi in Delhi.

The two meets have seen no conversation over government formation. Whereas the state is counting on remaining meet of Sharad Pawar and Sonia Gandhi.
