“Sunne ki bhi aadat daliye,” Amit Shah slams Asaduddin Owaisi for objecting BJP MPs speech

New Delhi | Union Home Minister Amit Shah during the debate on the NIA Amendment Bill slammed AIMIM chief when the Hyderabad MP objected BJP MP Satyapal Singh speech.

In a harsh criticism, the Union Home Minister said,” Sunne ki bhi aadat daliye Owaisi Sahab, iss tarah se nahi chalega.” when Asaduddin Owaisi interrupted a party of Satyapal Singh speech.

The Bagpat MP during his speech had alleged that the then Hyderabad Police Commissioner was asked by a political leader of the state to change the course of investigation in a particular case else he could be transferred out. He said he is aware of the development as at that time he was Mumbai Police Commissioner.

Objecting to the BJP MP’s claims, Owaisi demanded that Singh should place on the table of the House all records related to his claim. To which Amit Shah stood up from his seat and asked that Owaisi did not disturb the opposition member during his speech and should the same during the BJP MP’s.

Responding to the Shah, the Hyderabad MP got agitated and asked him to not point a finger at him as he cannot be frightened. To which the Union Home Minister said, he is not trying to frighten him and just saying that opposition members should have the patience to listen to the counter view. “When you have fear in your mind then what can I do,” he added.
