Arvind Kejriwal supports Hardik Patel’s hungers strike for farm loan waivers

New Delhi | Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Monday supported to the ongoing hunger strike by Patidar leader Hardik Patel demanding farm loan waivers.

Extending his support, Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi, “The farm loan of the farmers must be waived off. Hardik Patel is fighting for a cause of farmers. Entire farmer and society are with him. His hard work would not go in vain. Let God give him strength.”

The Patidar leader Hardik Patel is currently on a hunger strike demanding reservation for the Patidar community, loan waiver for farmers and release of his aide Alpesh Kathiria, who is in jail on sedition charges. Earlier on Sunday, he refused blood and urine tests as doctors advised him to be admitted to the hospital.”

Patel also declared his ‘Will’ distributing his wealth among his parents, sister, 14 youths killed during the 2015 quota agitation in Gujarat and a Panjrapole (shelter for ill and old cows) ahead of his deteriorating health.
