A vacation bench of the Supreme Court declined to hear Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea for a bail extension on Tuesday. The matter was referred to Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud for further directions. Kejriwal, the AAP leader, seeks a seven-day extension of his interim bail, expiring on June 1, due to medical reasons.
