Mumbai| It was a much-awaited Ghar Wapasi for NCP leader Ajit Pawar who had switched sides just four days ago, leaving not only the party but also the family perplexed. In the span of four days, many family members of Pawar tried to convince to get him back in the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Heading their plea, Ajit Pawar finally resigned as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Tuesday in a dramatic turn of events.
After his resignation, CM Devendra Fadnavis resigned too, effectively making way for Maha Vikas Aghadi led by Congress-NCP and ShivSena. The Governor taking note of this had issued a notice that the special assembly session will be called on Wednesday where MLAs will take an oath.
