Tamil Nadu Minister To Face Charges In Irregular Land Allotment Case

Today, the Madras High Court overturned Tamil Nadu Minister I Periyasamy’s discharge order. The court instructed him to confront accusations of allocating a plot to a personal security officer during his tenure as the state’s rural development minister. The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption filed the case in 2008, alleging favouritism.
