Tej Pratap Yadav hasn’t returned home after divorce decision: sources

Reportedly, the Yadav family is not very happy with the decision of Tej Pratap to divorce his wife Aishwarya.

Days after announcing his decision of filing divorce, RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav hasn’t yet returned home, it has been learnt. According to sources close to the Yadav family, the family members of Tej Pratap Yadav, including his mother Rabri Devi are waiting for him to return for the Diwali celebrations.

Recently, he had paid a visit to his father in Ranchi regarding his decision to divorce his wife Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya is a daughter of RJD leader Chandrika Rai and granddaughter of former CM of Bihar, Daroga Rai. Tej Pratap and Aishwarya got married six months ago. However, two days ago, he announced his decision to divorce his wife on the grounds of compatibility issues.

Reportedly, the Yadav family is not very happy with his decision. Even his mother, Rabri Devi hasn’t approved of the divorce. Sources said that he was upset and angry after his family including his mother, did not support him.

However, the sources refuted the reports that he had gone missing. “Tej Pratap, who is a deeply religious man, went to Varanasi to get some peace after he announced his decision to the media,” said a source talking to a news agency.

He filed for divorce at the Patna High Court on November 2.
