Maharashtra Congress MLA Yashomati Thakur to take over as AICC secretary

According to the letter, Yashomati Thakur will also be closely working with AICC General secretary Karnataka In-Charge KC Venugopalan.

 

Continuing the streak of key changes in the party’s organizational structure the Indian National Congress today appointed Yashomati Thakur as a secretary of All India Congress Committee. Advocate Thakur is a Congress MLA from Maharashtra who represents Teosa assembly constituency.

The party on its communication handle released the letter of appointment. According to the letter, she will also be closely working with AICC Karnataka In-Charge KC Venugopalan. Earlier, Congress party had replaced Janardhan Dwivedi with Ashok Gehlot as the General Secretary of the AICC.
