During the programme, Andrabi and her supporters sang the national anthem of Pakistan.

The videos of the celebration have gone viral on social media in which the DeM chief Asiya Andrabi is present in the function. During the function, Andrabi said that “all Muslims in the sub-continent are Pakistanis”.

Pertinent to mention here that Pakistan celebrates March 23 every year as its Republic Day to commemorate the adoption of the first constitution during the transition of the Dominion of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on this day in 1956.
