Tamil Nadu Poll Officer Claims Harassment Over DMK Bias

An election official in Nilgiris, Assistant Expenditure Observer P Saravanan, has formally accused the Returning Officer/District Collector M Aruna of favouring DMK candidate A Raja. In his letter to Tamil Nadu’s Chief Electoral Officer, Saravanan alleges harassment by Aruna, who claims to scrutinise Raja’s expenditures excessively and manipulate accounting to benefit Raja, causing Saravanan trouble for not supporting this bias.
