Mumbai is called a city of dreams that never sleeps. But can the city that never sleeps be up and running 24×7? Well, Maharashtra’s tourism and environment minister Aaditya Thackeray thinks so. On 22nd January, the Maharashtra cabinet cleared a proposal to keep Mumbai open 24×7. The proposal came from a young politician and first time lawmaker Aaditya Thackeray. However, the proposal only covers eateries, shops, café and mall compounds in the non-residential areas but no bars or pubs. Though there were initial disagreements with the plan but the government finally agreed to roll it out.

HW News Reporter Aditi Thakur travelled across the city, went to shops, malls and eateries to check whether the city has welcomed the move. #Mumbai24x7 #AadityaThackeray #Mumbai
