How MLAs Nominated By Modi Govt Led To Fall of Congress Govt In Puducherry?

Just months before the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, the Congress was hit by a jolt in Puducherry. After 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP is on a crusade to turn the majority of Congress-ruled states into Saffron. First it was Karnataka in 2019, then Madhya Pradesh in 2020. It almost seemed that Congress will lose Rajasthan too. But somehow it was able to save the state but it still remains a divided house between Gehlot and Pilot supports. Apart from that Congress is ruling in Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Puducherry, It is a part of the Ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra. Today, another battle was lost by the Congress party as V Narayansamy couldn’t prove his majority. The fall of Congress govt in Puducherry seemed inevitable since January as MLAs quit the party one by one. Each resignation took the govt close to a collapse. Moreover, the President also removed Kiran Bedi as Lieutenant Governor of the state and Telangana Governor Tamilisai Sounderrajan was given the additional charge. She ordered floor test to be held on Monday and asked the CM to prove the majority. While as I said, the fall of the govt looked inevitable it were three Modi Govt Nominated MLAs who sealed the fate of the Congress govt. In this video, let’s discuss how.
