In A First, Indian Air Force Plane Lands On Highway In Rajasthan With Rajnath and Gadkari Inside

“The Indian Air Force’s C-130J Super Herculis transport aircraft, carrying Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, conducted a mock emergency landing at the Emergency Landing Facility (ELF) on the Satta-Gandhav stretch of the national highway near Rajasthan’s Barmear. This is the first time that a national highway has been used for the emergency landing of an aircraft of the Indian Air Force. This strip will be able to facilitate the landing of all types of IAF aircraft.
