Congress leader Rahul Gandhi courted controversy over remarks he delivered at a rally in Kerala on Tuesday. The Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad, Rahul Gandhi said he was used to a “”different type of politics”” when he was representing Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. “”For the first 15 years, I was a member of Parliament in the north. So I had got used to a different type of politics. And for me coming to Kerala was very refreshing because suddenly I found that people are interested in issues and not just superficially but going into detail in issues,”” Rahul Gandhi said. The former Congress president delivered the remarks at the concluding rally of the ‘Aishwarya Yatra’, led by Leader of Opposition in the Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala.
