After NCP leader Sharad Pawar rubbished reports of him being offered a cabinet berth in the Modi-led central government. BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Thursday said that NCP founder Sharad Pawar would join the Modi government at the center and state after realizing how Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership was inspiring India to become self-reliant. Let’s discuss what he has said and how has the NCP reacted to the statement. “Under the PM’s leadership, India was progressing by leaps and bounds in all sectors. “Similarly, under the leadership of chief minister Eknath Shinde and deputy CMs — Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar — the people of Maharashtra are being benefited. All of them are touring the state for providing justice to the last man,” The BJP leader said. Further speaking about Ajit Pawar he said Ajit Pawar, joined the BJP-Shiv Sena government after realizing Modi’s leadership qualities. “Sharad Pawar is a mass leader. At present, he is not ready to join us. But he will realize the situation sooner than later. When he realizes that Modi is the best leader for the country, he will join us.” Interestingly, Earlier in the month Mr. Pawar had shared the stage with PM Modi in an event where the latter was awarded for his supreme leadership. Despite multiple requests from the INDIA alliance partner to Mr. Pawar that this would create a bad optic at a time when the opposition was unitedly opposing the PM for his silence over the Manipur issue. There were also reports of Senior Pawar’s daughter and NCP working president Supriya Sule being offered a berth in the cabinet. HW News English spoke to NCP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Vandana Chavan, let’s listen in to what she has said acting to the claims.
