Around 15 people were killed and 50 injured as a goods train rammed into the rear-end of Kolkata-bound Kanchangunga Express. Questions have been raised on the safety mechanism of the Indian Railways. Opposition leaders, meanwhile, slammed Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and demanded his resignation.
