Insulting Remarks on Bhil Tribe; MPPSC Faces Heavy Flak

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) came under heavy criticism after a picture of its question paper went viral, in which insulting remarks were made on Bhil Tribe.

Indore| A new controversy has erupted around a question asked in the exam of MPPSC insulting Bhil Tribe. People on social media demanded to file an FIR against concerned authorities.

In a section of General Aptitude, a passage was included in which the Bhil tribe was addressed as a community having a criminal mindset and bankruptcy.

Whistleblower of Vyapam Scam, Dr. Anand Rai, demanded stringent action on the Secretary of MPPSC Renu Pant under atrocity act. He also demanded that an FIR should be filed on Secretary and Chairman of MPPSC. MLA Ram Dangore demanded an apology from the MP government and MPPSC for the above incident.

In an exam conducted by MPPSC, a passage was given on the Bhil community. A number of questions were asked regarding the passage. It’s been said in the regard of the same passage and question that insulting remarks were made on the Bhil tribe. It was mentioned in the passage that the tribe is drowning in alcoholism and has developed a criminal mindset. The reason behind their criminal activities is their spending above their capacity, the passage read.
