Man booked for raping motherโ€™s dead corpse

A 22-year-old man in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, allegedly engaged in necrophilia with his deceased motherโ€™s body on a street in the Badi Gwaltoli area during the night of December 1 and 2. Indore police have filed a case under section 297 of the Indian Penal Code, but no arrest has been made yet. The incident was captured on a mobile phone by two nearby hostel students who informed the police. The accused, reportedly mentally unwell, was approached by Palasia police, who discovered the 70-year-old woman, suffering from a lung disorder, was admitted to the Government Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital due to breathing difficulties.
