Mayawati Expresses Concern Over ‘Unilateral’ Results

Following the BJP’s triumphant victory in three out of four Assembly elections, BSP leader Mayawati expressed deep concern, describing the outcomes as “one-sided” and leaving people “apprehensive, astonished, and worried.”

She convened a strategic meeting for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls with party members in Lucknow on December 10.

In a series of posts on X Mayawati also said that unexpected results in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana, highlighting the initial expectation of a closely contested battle.

The BJP’s dominance in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh contrasted sharply with the Congress’ win in Telangana, marking a significant setback for the latter.
