Two Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots lost their lives on Monday in a Pilatus trainer aircraft crash during a routine training session at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, Telangana.
The unfortunate incident involved an instructor and a cadet. The IAF confirmed the fatalities, expressing deep regret over the tragic accident.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh extended condolences on X, expressing anguish and sorrow for the loss. “In this tragic hour, my thoughts are with the bereaved families,” he shared on the microblogging site. The Pilatus PC 7 Mk II trainer aircraft crashed during a routine sortie, resulting in fatal injuries to both pilots.
