Temple Trust Challenges Shankaracharya Gold Theft Claim

Swami Avimukteshwaranand, Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath, has alleged that 228 kg of gold went missing from the Kedarnath Temple. Responding to these claims, Ajendra Ajay, Chairman of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, challenged him to substantiate the allegations in court. Ajay emphasized the need for evidence, stating, “He should approach the competent authority and demand an inquiry, or go to the Supreme Court or High Court if he has evidence.”
