During the state budget session on Monday, Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi stirred controversy by refusing to deliver the customary address prepared by the DMK government, citing factual and moral disagreements. “If I lend my voice, it would amount to Constitutional travesty,” he said on skipping the address. He ended his brief speech, lamenting the dismissal of his requests to include the national anthem.
