Voting ends: 55% voter turnout in Maharashtra and 62% in Haryana

Maharashtra with 54.53% whereas in Haryana 59.44% voters turnout for voting

Voting for the assembly elections in both the state Haryana and Maharashtra has ended. Haryana has 90 assembly seats where Maharashtra has 288 assembly seats. The alliance of BJP and Shivsena is not new to the state and their effort to maintain their hold on the state is on its peak. The opposition Congress and NCP still have hopes of winning. The result will be out on 24th October.

Maharashtra has seen a low voter turnout with 55.56% whereas Haryana has reached out to 62% till 5 PM. Maharashtra in comparison to Haryana holds a high population yet failed to witness half of the turnout.
