Controversy over Jinnah’s Portrait in AMU, BJP wrote letter to PM with blood

AGRA: Once again the picture of Jinnah in Aligarh Muslim University seems to spark up as BJP workers in Aligarh has been ferocious over a picture of Pakistan’s founder Muhammed Ali Jinnah in the union hall of Aigarh Muslim University (AMU). Apparently, the BJP unit in Aligarh has written a letter with their blood to PM Narendra Modi urging him to remove the portrait of Jinnah.

Blaming Jinnah for the partition of the country, BJP’s spokesperson in Aligarh Shivang Tewari warned that they will force authorities to take down the portrait “If the AMU authorities did not remove it themselves.” In 2018, a similar demand had been made by party MP Satish Gautam. And it resulted a clash with university students when activists of various right-wing organizations had tried to force their way into the student’s campus to remove the portrait of Jinnah.

“We will force AMU to take down the portrait”- BJP Spokesperson

The letter has also been submitted to the district administration apart from submitting to PM Narendra Modi.

As PM Modi will be travelling to Aligarh on 14th September the Jinnah situation seems to take a rise.
