Sensex Gains 300 Points, Nifty Surpasses 21,700 Post Q3 Results

Starting Friday’s trading session with strength, benchmark equity indices witnessed a robust opening, led by IT shares. The S&P BSE Sensex surged 427 points to 72,148, with NSE Nifty 50 around 21,750, up 100 points. Top gainers in the Sensex 30 pack were Infosys and TCS, rising 5% and 3%, respectively, post Q3 results. However, Infosys revised its revenue growth guidance after a 7.3% dip in Q3 net profit, indicating a global market slowdown. Other IT firms like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and HCL Technologies also saw gains, while Hindustan Unilever and Nestle faced slight declines.
