Gyanvapi Mosque Survey To Be Made Accessible To Both Sides

The ASI has requested both Hindu and Muslim parties receiving the report not to share it further. Varanasi district court ordered the ASI to conduct a scientific survey of the Gyanvapi mosque to determine if it was built over a pre-existing Hindu temple. The survey, excluding the ablution area, was conducted with an undertaking that no excavation or damage would occur.
