Pune: Heavy Rain Kills 4

Heavy rain in Pune and Kolhapur has caused severe waterlogging, leading to school closures and the flooding of several residential areas. Officials report that 3 people were electrocuted on a water-logged street, while 1 individual perished in a rain-induced landslide. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar urged the district administration to “stay alert,” while Pune collector Suhas Diwase advised residents to “stay indoors” and avoid unnecessary travel.
