“Enough Fake News By Trump” : Hackers Leave A Messege After Breaking Into Donald Trump’s Campaign Website

Donald Trump campaign spokesman said the site was quickly fixed and no sensitive data was compromised.

 

Washington DC| Just a week before elections, the campaign website of the US President Donald Trump was hacked on Tuesday. The website donaldjtrump.com generally gives details about Trump’s rallies and puts out donation appeals. The site was defaced and messege was posted that read, “This site was seized”.

According to the US media reports, following messege was posted on the hacked website- “”The world has had enough of the fake-news spread daily by president donald j trump”. In the messege the hackers claimed that they have knowledge and sensitive information on Trump and his relatives. They further asked people, if they want the information, they should send crypto currency to a particular address provided by them.

Trump campaign spokesman said the site was quickly fixed and no sensitive data was compromised. “The Trump campaign website was defaced and we are working with law enforcement authorities to investigate the source of the attack,” he said.
