Lok Sabha Election 2019

Can BJP make a dent in Mamata Banerjee’s fortress?

The 2019 Lok Sabha elections have reached its last phase and around 9 seats from West Bengal will go the polls in this phase. The contest in West Bengal has become a matter of Prestige for both TMC and BJP and both these parties are considered a major party ahead of the left front a Congress party. The Most important among these 9 seats is the seat of Kolkata South or Dakshin Kolkata. A seat from the Current West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been the Member of Parliament from 1991 to 2011 and has been a fortress of the TMC from 1998 after Mamata Banerjee parted her ways from the Congress party and formed her owned political front.
